BUNZL Branch Pricing & Accounting Administrator in Cerritos, California
Description
This position will be responsible for examining the complex pricing data by conducting mathematical margin analysis pertaining to contract support and inventory cost of goods, the position will also be required to update and manage the timing of cost changes, rebates and various supplier/item updates. This position also review & process administration related invoices by performing basic accounting duties.
Responsibilities:
Conduct daily reviews on margins for contract and cost updates. Track the effect of any changes on sales and margin within our market
Work closely with purchasing and sales department to address any margin related issues
Facilitate with cost changes, rebates and various vendor updates.
Understand the logic behind the various cost change processes
Audit cost changes and rebate tables for accuracy
Participate in other projects as directed
Maintain documented records with precision
Coordinate external and internal communication of pricing and item changes
Code expense invoices and credit memos to the appropriate GL code on a daily basis
Research problem invoices thru Dataserv & AS400
Respond and research inquiries from internal and external calls for payable related issues
Handle special projects, as needed
Requirements:
High School diploma required
A Bachelor's degree required; Business or related major preferred
Minimum of 2 years working in a fast paced business environment preferred
A high level of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a team player
A high level of attention to detail
Excellent math aptitude
Resourceful, creative, and innovative
A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word
Comfortable learning new systems; quick learner. AS400 experience a plus.
R3 Cerritos salary range: $24 - $26.50 per hour based on experience, education and geographic location.
